Star Wars LEGOs

Star Wars LEGOs are becoming increasingly popular with the continued success of the Star Wars series.  The LEGO group has done a fantastic job of capitalizing on this success by feeding the LEGO community a constant supply of new Star Wars themed sets.

Starwars LEGO Sets

The LEGO Group has released Starwars themed LEGO sets for the following movies:

Episode I: The Phantom Menace Lego Sets
Episode II: Attack Of The Clones Lego Sets
Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith Lego Sets
Episode IV: A New Hope Lego Sets
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Lego Sets
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Lego Sets

Each of the Starwars themed sets above has it’s own set of LEGOs that compliment that particular movie.  These sets also include highly collectible Star Wars LEGO minifugures (also known as minifigs.)  LEGO minifigs are sought after by many LEGO enthusiasts.

For each of the movies listed above, we will list all of the LEGO play sets that were released.

Episode I: The Phantom Menace Lego Sets

The first movie released for the Pre-quel trilogy, Episode 1 is actually the fourth movie released in the Star Wars saga.  The LEGO Group released the following sets to compliment scenes from The Phantom Menace:

AAT 7155
Anakin’s Podracer 7131
Battle Droid Carrier 7126
Battle Droid Carrier 7126
Droid Fighter 7111

This series of LEGO is best known for the amount of rare LEGO sets it has.  LEGO likes to discontinue sets after a certain amount of time has passed.  This has created a relatively high demand for these sets.

Episode II: Attack Of The Clones Lego Sets

This is the second movie released for the Pre-quel trilogy of Starwars films.  The following sets were released by LEGO to compliment scenes from Episode II:

AT-TE 4482
Bounty Hunter Pursuit 7133
Geonosian Fighter 4478
Hailfire Droid 4481
Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid 7670
Jango Fett’s Slave I 7153
Jedi Duel 7103
Jedi Starfighter 7143
Republic Gunship 7163
Tusken Raider Encounter 7113

This is a rather small amount of LEGO systems for this movie.  These LEGO systems are also rather rare as all have been discontinued.  Note Jango Fett’s slave I which can fetch upwords of $ 200 sometimes because it is particularly rare.

Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith Lego Sets

This is the third movie released for the Pre-quels.  LEGO released these sets to compliment scenes from the film:

ARC-170 Starfighter 7259
AT-AP Walker 7671
Clone Scout Walker 7250
Clone Troopers Battle Pack 7655
Clone Turbo Tank 7261-1
Clone Turbo Tank 7661-2

Another example of discontinued LEGOs, this series offers many more sets than Episode II.  The Ultimate Lightsaber Duel 7257 is unique in that it offers an interactive 1 on 1 style setup.

Episode IV: A New Hope Lego Sets

The now legendary original Star Wars movie, A New Hope basically kicked it all off.  This series offers quite a few large (and therefore expensive) sets.

Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter 8017
Droid Escape 7106
Imperial Dropship 7667
Imperial Landing Craft 7659
Imperial Star Destroyer 6211
Landspeeder 7110

Y-wing Fighter 7658

The Millenium Falcon is always a popular find as is Vader’s TIE Fighter.

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Lego Sets

The Empire Strikes Back is the fifth movie in the Star Wars Saga but it was actually the second released.

Cloud City 10123
Hoth Rebel Base 7666
Imperial AT-AT 4483
Millennium Falcon 4504
Motorized Walking AT-AT 10178

This series of Star Wars LEGOs includes a newer version of the Slave I ship, this one piloted by Boba Fett rather than Jango.  Also a very popular LEGO set.

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Lego Sets

This is the final movie in the Saga.  Return of the Jedi offers quite a few sets and does a great job of depicting the Movie through LEGO Sets.
